SkinGenX Ingredients
Active ingredients in our products that are clinically proven to fight the signs of aging, protect from oxidative stress and help rejuvenate the skin.

  • Anti-Injection Neuropeptides: Relax facial muscles, inhibit formation of mimic wrinkles.
    • Acetyl Hexapeptide - This powerful synthetic neuropeptide is also known as Argireline®. Clinical studies demonstrate that Argireline acts like Botox® by relaxing facial muscles but is a non-toxic and biosafe alternative to Botulinum NeuroToxins (BoNTs) used in cosmetics. It has been advertised as "Botox® in a bottle" by many cosmetics companies.
    • Dipeptide Diaminobutyroyl Benzylamide Diacetate (Syn-ake®) - another synthetic neuropeptide (synthetic snake venom) that mimics Botox® via muscular relaxation, to tighten the skin and reduce the appearance of mimic wrinkles.
  • Anti-Oxidants: Protect skin from environmentally (mostly UVB) induced damage and inflammation, reverse the signs of aging.
    • Retinol (Vitamin A) - Positive effects of retinol on photodamaged skin is well established and researched in scientific literature.
    • Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) - Vitamin C is clinically proven to improve and repair photodamaged skin and induce modifications of skin relief and ultrastructure. There are also numerous studies showing the reversal of skin damage when Vitamin C and retinol (Vitamin A) are applied together topically.
    • Pomegranate - Pomegranate, from the tree Punica granatum, contains anthocyanins and hydrolysable tannins and possesses strong antioxidant and anti-tumor-promoting properties. Pomegranate is found to be useful against UVB-induced damage to human skin.
    • Solanum Lycopersicum (Tomato) Extract - An anti-oxidant in tomato extract called lycopene has also been shown to improve the skin's ability to protect against harmful UV rays.
  • Polyphenols: Powerful anti-oxidants proven to protect and repair skin
    • Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract (Green Tea) - Tea polyphenols are powerful anti-oxidants that protect the skin from environmental oxidative stress and damage. Topical green tea extract has also been proven to produce significant reduction in mild-to-moderate acne.
    • Resveratrol - The photoprotective effects of some selected polyphenols, such as green tea polyphenols, grape seed proanthocyanidins and resveratrol on UV-induced skin inflammation, oxidative stress and DNA damage have been proven via clinical studies and research. It is suggested that these polyphenols may favorably supplement sunscreens' protection, and may be useful for skin diseases associated with solar UV radiation-induced inflammation, oxidative stress and DNA damage.
    • Vitis vinifera (grape seed) extract - Another powerful polyphenol whose healing and anti-inflammatory effects have been studied for dermal wounds.
  • Collagen Production, Skin Protection and Moisturizing
    • Palmitoyl Oligopeptide, Palmitoyl Pentapeptide, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide (Matrixyl®3000) - Peptides that are known as "collagen boosters" and act as skin rejuvenators. These stimulate the skin to synthesize collagen I and III, while reducing enzyme to protect the integrity of elastin and collagen.
    • Soy bean extract - Soy bean extract helps in collagen production in the skin. In a placebo-controlled in vivo study, topical application of an isoflavone-containing emulsion significantly enhanced the number of dermal papillae per area after 2 weeks. Because the flattening of the dermal-epidermal junction is the most reproducible structural change in aged skin, this soy extract appears to rejuvenate the structure of mature skin.
    • CoQ10 (Ubiquinone) - protects dermal fiber components from degradation, leading to protection from sun induced aging and rejuvenation of wrinkled skin.
    • Hyaluronic Acid - Hyaluronan is naturally found in many tissues of the body, such as skin and cartilage It has been used in injectable dermal fillers and treatment skin disorders such as eczema.
The presence of hyaluronic acid in epithelial tissue has been shown to promote keratinocyte proliferation and increase the presence of retinoic acid, effecting skin hydration. Hyaluronic acid helps collagen synthesis and normal skin function and is critical to the structural integrity of the dermal collagen matrix. These benefits make hyaluronic acid a very effective topical moisturizer.
    • Squalane (Plant based) - Moisturizing extract found in olive oil. Deficiency of Squalane results in excessive dry skin and premature aging. Squalane heals skin, decreases dryness and smoothes wrinkles and scaly patches.
    • Tea tree oil - Reduces skin inflammation and is used in treatment for acne vulgaris.
    • Jojoba Oil
